Waiting for 2059″ written by Nortan Palacio Ortiz (Colombian director, actor and playwright with whom I share this creation) is a project, a work, a dialogue, a provocation that challenges us to strip away fears and prejudices to allow us to think together.
We created the CIA “Off the map” to belong to this “non-place” that we sometimes find ourselves in as artists, as immigrants, as “foreigners”, as activists of other possible worlds that contain vulnerability, solidarity, sensitivity to the different.
Words stop meaning at the beginning to embody our pronunciation difficulties that are material for creation.
This creation is theatre, it is dance with text, it is breaking down walls and finding ourselves in gazes navigating possibilities to shake our humanity. Long live creating!
