PUSH + is a project from Creative Europe cooperation led by Imaginate (Scotland) together with Aaben Dans (Denmark), Krokusfestival (Belgium), Scenekunstbruket (Norway), The Ark (Ireland) and associated partner the International Children’s Festival from Bangkok (Thailand).
PUSH + stimulates the European dialogue towards new artistic ideas around important themes in acting for young audiences.
They are themes that challenge participating artists to take risks, to show the under-representation of different lives and bodies on stage, and to tell stories that really connect with children and who they are.
The proposal is the dialogue between the artists and the cultural programs to create a sense of belonging and appropriation towards the place where the residence takes place and the place where they live.
